- 5 / 5By A Google UserWe regularly drink and have a meal at this pub and are very surprised at the very negative comments written in such a way as to suggest that the quality of welcome, drink and service are poor. This just isn't so. We have never seen the landlord be rude to customers whether locals or visitors. He won't stand for rude behaviour or bad language which some may find upsetting, but we really appreciate this because we don't want to listen to swearing etc. We like the feeling of the place and the food is always good and we think reasonably priced. We will keep visiting and eating and drinking there as long as the present conditions exist. Finally can I make it clear that we are NOT relations or in any way connected with the owners.January 02, 2017
